Time signs Adami’s new creation: introducing RPS “Uno”

What happens to Glera when it is not conceived solely for immediate enjoyment? Adami answers with RPS (Recente Presa di Spuma — Recent Sparkling Fermentation), a project created to demonstrate the grape variety’s evolutionary potential through a completely innovative approach to the management of time. Remaining faithful to the Martinotti method, we have allowed the wines to evolve for years on their own lees before sparkling fermentation. Creating a Recente Presa di Spuma means exactly this: with the tirage carried out in September 2025, the bubbles were born only recently, bringing the utmost freshness and the vibrant energy of the sparkle to a base wine that was already extraordinarily mature, deep, and structured.
The result is RPS “Uno”, a Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Brut that combines the evolutionary depth of the 2020 vintage, which rested for 60 months on the lees (70%), with the structural tension of the 2023 vintage, aged for 24 months (30%).
